INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS
Positive Science - Economics
Profile. Positive Science - Economics is a fully open access (gold OA) journal in economics. We accept
Original Research Articles only - theoretical, qualitative, mixed-methods, and empirical - across a broad
field. The scope on our site is illustrative, not exhaustive; we also consider other areas of economics.
Submission package (minimal)
• Anonymized manuscript - no names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or identifying metadata.
• Title page - title; all authors &amp; affiliations; ORCID iDs; corresponding author;
funding/acknowledgements; conflicts of interest.
• Abstract (150-200 words), keywords, and JEL codes.
• Data/Code Availability Statement (link or clear explanation of restrictions, where applicable).
• Tables/figures with captions; equations numbered; consistent English (EN-UK or EN-US).
Peer review &amp; process
• Manuscripts undergo anonymous peer review in accordance with our Peer Review Policy.
• Flow: receipt -&gt; initial screening (fit &amp; basic requirements) -&gt; anonymous peer review -&gt; decision -&gt;
APC invoice -&gt; publication.
• Publication occurs immediately after the author's payment is confirmed.
• There is no Editor-in-Chief role; decisions are issued by the editorial team under approved policies.
Rights &amp; open access
• Authors assign exclusive economic rights to the publisher (copyright transfer).
• The Version of Record is distributed under Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 (fully compliant with Plan
S).
• License: Creative Commons CC BY 4.0.
• Repository deposit of the Version of Record is permitted with the DOI and the chosen CC license.

• Payable only after acceptance.
